We would like to invite you to partner with us in honoring the life and legacy of an extraordinary woman, Marlene McGuire Griffin, through a meaningful and heartfelt community event:

 

Marlene’s Pretty Things~A Day of Style, Giving & Grace

 

Marlene Griffin was more than a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother—she was a pillar in the Bloomington community for over 50 years. She was known for her kindness, her joyful spirit, her love of fashion and beauty, and her unwavering commitment to uplifting others.

 

She mentored youth, served faithfully in her church, supported her family with love and strength, and brought light into every space she entered. Whether through her work, her faith, or her vibrant personality, Marlene made people feel seen, valued, and loved.

 

In her honor, we are hosting a boutique-style fundraising event on August 1, 2026, where members of the community and surrounding areas will gather to shop Marlene's closet and celebrate her life while supporting and learning about important causes that meant so much to Marlene and her family.

 

All proceeds from the sale will be divided equally amongst

St.Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Stand up 2 cancer, Wounded Warriors Project & the Lupus Research Alliance.

 

We are currently seeking sponsors and donors to help us bring this vision to life.
